It allows neighbors and friends to spend time together, get their pictures taken for free in a portable studio setup right in the home, and even allows the hostess to earn a small commission on the sales. Parties can be any theme, whether it's just the girls getting dressed up for self-portraits, or a chance to get a family portrait done in a comfortable setting. Host Your Own Hosting a portrait party is a great excuse to invite friends and neighbors over for a fun evening, and get a free personal or family portrait session in the process. As a host/hostess, you will earn a 10% commission on all purchases made by your guests in the first month. Many good hostesses enjoy a slew of their own photos after these parties paid for completely by their commission. As a hostess, you will have three primary responsibilities: Gather between 8 and 14 guests. If less than 8 guests (or families) are present you will be charged a $99.00 fee for the session. Clear a 10'x10' or larger area for us to setup our portable studio. We can setup outdoors on a flat surface but cannot shoot in inclement weather conditions. Schedule a session for each of your guests 20 minutes apart and insure that they are present at the appointed time. Make online orders for guests who are not comfortable doing so themselves (or all guests if you prefer) and deliver their prints to them. We'll give you all the tools you need to get started, including a full price list of prints and other products that can be purchased afterwards.
